The lamp has a cute character and comes with a bulb. The lampshade is lightweight and the rods need careful placement. The feet may take a few tries to get the lamp to stand, but it eventually works out.

This lamp is so unique and truly does the job of a night light and reading light as necessary. My granddaughter who is age 4 absolutely loves it, and it encourages her to sleep in her room. I highly recommend this lamp. It is way better than many that are on the more expensive side.
My niece loved it so much, she takes it everywhere she goes. A real show-stopper!
